We woke up this morning to bright blue skies, and sunshine pouring in thru our windows, with cool comfortable temps.
It is April 15, otherwise known as “TAX DAY”.
…but who cares if this is tax day! This is another beautiful day at Hickory Ridge, where God shows us with “natures beauty” how much He loves us.
We feel so lucky to be a part of this community. We welcome all nice people to come be a part of our friendly neighborhood. You are welcome any day, to come and talk with the owners. We will give you a tour of our home, and discuss with you any lot that you are interested in.
Our busy schedules sometimes crowds out the beautiful things that God has for us. Living at “Hickory Ridge” has taught me to slow down, and look closely at the beauty that surrounds us. The colorful flowers that show up one day that were not there the day before. The birds that swoop in by the hundreds, to feed on worms after a drenching rain. The rainbow that offers a promise from God. The warm sun on a spring day! I can never thank God enough for blessing me and my family with the land at Hickory. The pictures in the video below are not of Hickory, but the first picture reminds me of our tree lined entry. The majestic pictures of green hills and swooping eagles could easily have been taken from my back porch. I hope you enjoy! Remember to slow down and Thank God!
Branson is always changing, including the weather. After the snow, we had 60 degree weather which melted everything, and mysteriously brought out the “armadillos.”
Armadillo Man
The next video is of an armadillo, but not at Hickory.
We thought you might want to see what one looks like. They burrow in your soil, and can be a rather large nuisance. The picture above is of our armadillo hunter – Jon – with his homemade nightscope, a taped on flash light for night vision. He is also in charge of removing small and large nuisances in the neighborhood, so if you are up to NO GOOD – LOOK OUT!
